To calculate the recommended sun exposure time accurately, the app requires real-time access to specific device features and sensors:

a) Location Data (GPS)

• Usage: The app requests access to your GPS location only if permission is explicitly granted by the user. This data is used strictly in real-time to query the current UV Index for your area via an open weather service (Open-Meteo API).
• Storage: None. Your geographic location is not stored in any database, logged on the device, or transmitted to any proprietary or third-party server for tracking or advertising purposes.

b) Skin Phototype (Health/Physical Data)

• Usage: During setup, the app allows you to select your skin phototype (Fitzpatrick Scale) to determine your skin’s estimated resistance to solar radiation.
• Storage: This information is processed locally on your device to perform time calculations. It is never stored on external servers nor linked to any personal identity or user profile.

c) Ambient Light Sensor (Lux)

• Usage: The app reads the phone’s ambient light sensor value to determine whether the device is under direct sunlight or shade, dynamically adjusting the estimated radiation received.
• Storage: Lux readings are processed in real time on your device and are neither stored nor transmitted anywhere.

2. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. The app does not integrate advertising networks, tracking analytics SDKs, or user profiling tools.

The only network request the app performs is an anonymous technical call to a public weather API (Open-Meteo) sending latitude and longitude coordinates to retrieve the current local UV index.

The app contains NO advertisements of any kind (no banners, no native ads, no third-party ad networks).
